Why run alone? Whether you’re sprinting for a P.R. or just out to enjoy the Austin sunshine, do it together with your friends or family! The 2024 H-E-B Austin Sunshine Run is encouraging every participant to build a team and race together.

Tomlinson’s Fastest Dog in Austin 5K

Think your dog is the fastest in Austin? Prove it and win awesome prizes! Dogs finishing with the top male and female winners of the Tomlinson’s Fastest Dog 5K timed event will be crowned the 2024 Fastest Dogs in Austin.

Have a dog that prefers a Sunday stroll to racing pace? That's okay! The 2024 H-E-B Austin Sunshine Run is one of the few dog-friendly races in town, so bring 'em out to race, jog, or walk with you! We'll be sure to have dog bowls at every water stop to keep them as hydrated as you are. Just make sure all dogs participating in the race are on a leash and don't trip up other runners trying to achieve their goals.

Kids k

If your kids aren’t quite ready for a full 5K or 10K but still want to get out and race - sign ‘em up for the Kids K for $10! Its a fun and easy race for kids 10 and under. All registered participants will receive a race t-shirt and special prize. The race will start at the 5K/10K start line, and parents are allowed to accompany their kids at no extra charge. After the race, all are welcome at the Kids Zone, where there will be fun activities.
